160Amp TIG,
160Amp MMA and 40Amp CUT ICM
MTC160 DC Inverter Plasma Cutter package, this
multipurpose machine is the ultimate universal unit
that replaces the need of having to purchase three
machines to do three different jobs.
In fact it
replaces all previous cutting tools such as power
hacksaws, sheet metal nibblers, and even the
oxy-acetylene torches. The ICM MTC160 is the
state of the art technology its light, reliable,
portable, efficient, silent, cuts so smoothly that
no polish is required afterwards.
With the
incredible cutting thickness of 12mm, a maximum
cutting thickness of 16mm in ideal conditions and
maximum welding thickness of 6mm this multipurpose
machine is suitable for both commercial and home
use.

Can
the
ICM
MTC160
cut
Aluminum
and
Stainless
steel?
The
ICM
Cut40
plasma
cutter
can
be
used
widely,
it
suitable
for
cutting
stainless
steel,
alloy
steel,
copper,
aluminium
and
all
other
colour
metal
materials.
But
can
not
weld
Aluminum.
What
additional
equipment
is
required?
240 VAC power source & plug: unit may be hard wired to electrical supply or use a standard 240v plug such.
Theory
about
plasma
cutter
· We
all
know
the
first
three
states
of
matter,
which
are
solid
liquid
and
gas.
The
forth
state
of
matter
is
plasma.
When
arc
is
transferred
to
the
gas
it
elevates
the
temperature
of
the
gas
to
the
forth
state
of
matter.
Plasma
is a
high
energy
electrically
charged
mixture
of
ions
and
electrons.
· The
gas
could
be
of
any
of
the
following;
air,
nitrogen,
argon,
oxygen
etc…
· The
restricted
opening
(nozzle)
the
gas
passes
through
causes
it
to
squeeze
by
at a
high
speed.
This
high
speed
gas
cuts
through
the
molten
metal.
The
gas
is
also
directed
around
the
perimeter
of
the
cutting
area
to
shield
the
cut.
Theory
about
TIG
and
MMA
welding
· In
the
TIG
(tungsten
inert
gas)
welding
process,
an
essentially
non-consumable
electrode
is
used
to
provide
an
electric
arc
for
welding.
A
cover
of
inert
gas
surrounds
the
electrode,
the
arc,
and
the
area
to
be
welded.
This
gas
shielding
process
prevents
any
oxidization
of
the
weld
and
allows
for
the
production
of a
neat
and
clean
weld.
· TIG
welding
differs
from
MMA
(manual
metal
arc)
welding
in
that
the
electrode
is
not
consumed
in
the
weld.
In
the
MMA
welding
process
the
electrode
is
continuously
melted
and
is
added
into
the
weld.
In
TIG
welding,
no
metal
is
added
unless
a
Octarate
filler
rod
is
used.
· TIG
welding
is
much
slower
then
MMA
welding,
which
allows
the
user
to
make
perfect
welds.
MMA
welding
is
design
for
the
quick
and
easy
jobs.
Aluminum
can't
be
welded
with
a DC
inverter
machine.
An
AC
machine
is
require
for
this
process.
·
The
multipurpose
machine
can’t
be
converted
to a
liquid
cooled
torch
for
TIG
welding.
Can
be
converted
to a
foot
pedal
operation
for
the
TIG
welding,
just
the
plug
needs
to
be
changed
from
a 2
pin
to a
7
pin
plug.
Warranty
is
avoided
if
inner
items
are
tampered
with.
Plasma
cutting
versus
Oxy
fuel
cutting
·
Plasma
cutting
can
be
used
on
any
conductive
metals
such
as
the
following;
mild
steel,
aluminum
and
stainless
are
some
examples.
The
plasma
cutter
will
cut
mild
steel
much
faster
than
alloys.
It
doesn’t
reply
on
oxidizing
the
element
it
is
cutting,
which
makes
it a
unique
cutting
tool.
· Oxy
fuel
cutting
cuts
by
oxidizing
the
product
it
is
cutting
which
make
it
impossible
to
cut
elements
such
as
stainless
steel,
aluminum
and
many
other
alloys
due
to
there
oxide
that
prevents
further
oxidizing.
· Plasma
cutting
can
be
used
for
non-linear
cuts
such
as
circles
and
many
other
designs.
It
could
also
be
used
on
thinner
plates
compared
to
the
oxy
fuel
cutting.
· Plasma
cutters
are
much
more
portable
as
they’re
light
and
compact
compared
to
oxy
fuel
cutters.
Benefits:
· Can
be
used
commercially
and
for
home
use.
·
Very
light
and
portable
weighing
at
only
15
kg.
· Can
cut
non-linearly
such
as
circles,
ovals
and
many
other
shapes.
· Cutting
capacity
increased
1.8
times
higher
in
cutting
speed
compared
with
O2
cutting.
· Adjustable
Amp
control
on
the
machine
to
your
required
current.
· It's
a
single
phase
machine
that
could
be
used
almost
anywhere.
· Don’t
need
to
buy
three
machines
anymore
that
could
cost
you
a
fortune.
