Frequently asked questions

Water cooled vs air cooled — what's the difference?

Water cooled welders have better heat dissipation, longer lifespan, and can run continuously (S1 duty cycle). Air cooled welders are lighter, more portable, but have a 50% duty cycle.

What is the duty cycle of these machines?

The ICMW300SE water cooled has a 90% duty cycle. Air cooled models have a 50% duty cycle — they need time to cool down between uses.

Can these be used in a workshop with electricity?

These are designed for onsite jobs where there is no electricity. They are not intended for workshops with mains power available.

Do you deliver to Botswana, Zimbabwe or Namibia?

Yes, we ship diesel welder generators to all SADC countries. Contact us for a shipping quote.
